Something has to be done. It's scary and disturbing to patrons of businesses

Ditto this. I went on a run after work and should have been happy to see all the people stoop sitting and patio eating in the warmth, but instead felt bad for all of them being harassed. I feel uncomfortable even stopping at streets waiting to cross because even running in place with headphones on im asked for money or sexually harassed. Im planning on not renewing my lease in september. For what its worth, ive been writing on here about this for the last 2 years.

Jill, sorry to hear about your experience in the neighborhood. We are meeting with APD (Acting Chief Sears will be attending) at our next neighborhood meeting to discuss this very topic, along with other quality of life issues. The meeting is next Wednesday May 16 at 7PM. Location is 381 Hamilton Street (AME Church). I encourage you to attend, voice your concerns, and see what APD has to say.
