Penndot is NOT responsible for this intersection!!

When 2 STATE roads meet at an intersection and traffic controls are requested or approved to be placed there, who is responsible for the traffic study and making sure criteria is met prior to denial/implementation? PennDoT! After installation the township then takes responsibility, by ordnance. The township is usually required to pay an amount for the installation and that cost is attempted to be pushed off onto the developer.

@ Jules: Main Street is considered a STATE Road therefore PENNDOT does need to be involved.

It's hard to have a battle of wits with unarmed people. Read the previous comments. In one instance you say it's not Pendot and then you say it is. You must work for Pendot.

friend got a ticket there, making left on burnside, driver told him to go, cop was sitting in lot waiting, he got a ticket, should not be able to make left turn there,,nothing won't be done, west norriton is making money from the tickets!

No! Not another traffic light! Just allow right-hand turns only onto Main, and eliminate left turns. Traffic coming south on Burnside can turn left on Marshall to get to Main.
