These plastic car/bike lane dividers have been sheared off the road again. This issue has been fixed at least twice recently but this problem keeps recurring. Notice that although the base of these dividers have 4 or 8 installation holes, but only 2 bolt anchors are used to hold the post to the road surface. Now I’m not an engineer, but I would think that using more anchors would distribute the load a lot better, reducing the chances of this kind of shear damage.
