Okay is something going to be done? It has now been over a week.

Still waiting. it has been over a month. What could possibly be taking this long to get them in compliance with the law?

I too noticed the banners. Why do you think it looks horrible? I think it adds color to the neighborhood. I believe the banners are helping the proprietor get more business. If it's illegal, that's a shame. The banners help the entrepreneur successfully live the American dream and support his or her family. Would it not be better to help our neighbors instead of berating them? Just sayin'.

That's why the law exists. You and I have different opinions as to what looks nice and what degrades the neighborhood. In order to accommodate us both the law provides that public space will remain neutral. If you want to hang plastic banners in your backyard ....fine.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. I still think it's a shame there are so many laws in the U.S. preventing people from having true freedom. It seems ironic there are many people who believe America is synonymous with freedom. I feel lucky to have lived outside of the U.S. for more than 20 years. During that time, I was able to enjoy the freedom we are not able to enjoy in this country. Oh well, I guess there's nothing I can do to change the socially conditioned mindset of the majority of our country. I'm only one person and I don't have as much influence as Fox News.

Not sure what the issue is. I am actually glad there is a new business like this in the area.

Thanks to Public Space for getting this issue resolved. It's not a question of welcoming a new business it's a question of aesthetics and use of the public space.
