A large water main break at Michigan and Maple has caused a city-wide loss of water pressure. City crews are working to isolate the break and restore pressure.
There will be a boil water advisory after pressure is restored.
Water pressure is improving throughout the city. Please minimize your use of water as much as possible while we fill the towers and bring the system back to full operating pressure.
Some residents may experience water discoloration due to the system disruption. We will not be able to flush water mains until full system pressure is restored later this afternoon. If your water is discolored and does not clear up within a few minutes, please call the DPW at 429-5624 so we can prioritize your area when we begin flushing.
