Agreed. It tooks me two trips out until I found it when I moved here.... Not to mention that the hours are completely ridiculous. If you work normal hours and can't get out there Saturday morning, then you're out of luck. And for many of us who live in larger apartment buildings, the city won't recycle and landlords don't either despite what city codes might dictate. No wonder New Haven has such a bad recycling track record. I know a few good, guilt-ridden people who have given up completely on recycling because of how terrible the city handles it.

not only should this one be easier to find, there should be a highly visible and easy to access recycling substation downtown. especially since we make money off of selling recycleables.

The city doesn't really want people to recycle. The mayor's friends, who haul the trash, get paid by the ton, so the more trash they haul (the less that gets recycled), the more money they make and Johnny and his friends are all happy! Welcome to the adult world.

I'm not sure why you've taken personal offense to this issue (and associated it with as irrelevant topics as city ID cards,) but please let it be aknowleged by municipal officials before closing.

I know, I agree, took me several trips to find it, not conducive to recycling. Another, easier to access location is not a bad idea.
