SO and SCH I think it is because folks want to donate to the Center so they just drop it off. Can the SCH post a sign in that location that says:

The Center appreciates donations but please contact our office at XXXXXXXX before you donate. Items left without contacting our office are considered illegal dumping and you could be fined by local law enforcement.

Office, yes we are aware that is a donation location. I don't think they take used mattresses. We were just wondering. Thanks.

We do have a sign posted about illegal dumping...doesn't stop people...this "donation" was dumped in the middle of the night...onto the street... the mattresses were taken off the street and put onto the sidewalk area for safety reasons....
