  How can i do this David Coleman. Should i ask for signatures from the neighbors or tell them to vote and call ? To make the complaint because this empty lot owner never does take care of the lot causing the illegal dumping and unnecessary pest!!

  We live next to an empty property where a lot of bad grass and weeds grow which has lead to problems with roaches and rats in our backyard.

  This neighborhood needs the city of oakland to get in touch with whoever owns the empty property on Macarthur and Ritchie because they need to take care o bad grass that grow extremely tall and attracts rats and roaches. Also people tend to throw garbage which also makes bad smells. All of this puts our pets, our babies and our own safety in danger.

  i have yet to have PWD refer anything to Oakland's Building Dept Code enforcement 238-3381. You need to call or file a complaint on line I would say a complaint from each neighbor. It takes up to week for an inspector to come out and then they have to give the property owners 30 days to respond. Call after 6 weeks if nothing has been done. It may take a few calls. In Oakland its all on the pro bono taxpayer to get things done. This weed patch needs to be cut and kept up as it is a fire hazard.

  Need to cut the weed unsafe for neighborhood. Specially homes nearby. Mices, rats, roaches and other insects can damage it houses and come inside via sewer and drains. We have killed some mices and its unsafe. Please help our neighborhood..
