Please call the St. Petersburg police nonemergency number to report these people the minute you see them that’s the only way they can act upon this. However I think the best post i have seen here regarding the homeless essentially living wherever they please is the lady who said if she set up her tent or RV down on Beach Drive or along the police would run her out in a heartbeat… How is it that the homeless don’t have to abide by the same laws as a tax paying citizens? It’s a very strange thing…
Definitely call the Nonemergency number 727-893-7780. They will definitely respond. This post will only get referred to the city’s department of homeless services which will basically stop by with a gift basket.
We work closely with various City departments and local social service providers to address issues faced by our homeless population, and we also work with neighborhood associations to address the concerns they have, as well. Our Police Department has a Street Outreach Team that actively canvasses areas where the activities of the homeless are noticed, and they will continue doing so to ensure the safety of all citizens. Please immediately report any criminal activity or safety concerns to the SPPD directly by calling 727-893-7780 if not an emergency, or 911 if an emergency. Thank you.
lets not forget the free phones free bikes the free rein any place any where any time 24/7 365 where is this place the sunshine city ?

ABC news Nov 22: “The Salvation Army, a Christian organization, has been accused of refusing services to people because of their sexual orientation for years. They have also been accused of trying to exempt themselves from anti-discrimination laws in the past.”
Time for the Salvation Army to leave St Pete , they do not represent our values.
The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews old SeeClickFix reports in an effort to clean-up past issues that were resolved some time ago. We are now marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website or mobile app and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
