Driver Safety Issue at the intersection of Hinesburg Road and Kennedy Drive. A couple of years ago was the first time I ever drove north on Hinesburg Rd to the intersection of Kennedy Dr to make a left turn, it was at night. I was the only car in the left turn lane when the signal turned green and I promptly turned into the eastbound lanes of Kennedy Dr. Fortunately, the wife and kids made me aware of my mistake, there were no oncoming vehicles and I did a quick u-turn. I now travel this route daily and in the past two weeks I’ve witnessed four vehicles repeat my mistake…without incident, but they might have continued west into oncoming traffic. May I suggest painting white stripes (as seen in attached Google Earth photo from 2015) once again to help guide drivers throught this intersection. Thank you.
