AND as I recollect, the right lane disappears, not the left. It makes me furious when a driver in the right lane just bears left into me because their lane is disappearing, forcing me into oncoming traffic!!! That is if they haven't sped up and pushed their way in between me and the car in front of me... I will NOT let them in! I wish a policeman would sit just past the right turn just before the intersection and those who want to pull this little stunt would have to WAIT for the rest of the traffic to pass them... This goes for both directions at that intersection.

And heading North on Trooper Rd, the two lanes merging into one right after the light is not safe. I think the folk from Norristown are showing their city driving skills. I've seen some crazy stunts at this intersection.

I agree. Another problem spot - Egypt Rd. at Mill Rd. and Port Indian Rd. They build all of those lovely new townhouses and still no light at this problem spot. I know no one wants yet another light but someone is going to be killed either trying to make a left onto Egypt or hitting their brakes because someone turned onto Egypt in front of them.

I agree with you. That is a dangerous spot. West Norriton really needs to step up on their roads & public safety!

There a no signs there on either sides of the road and if u know it happens then slow down.

I agree. the arrows need to be repainted. It's the same going in the other direction West on Egypt it merges right after Trooper and cars come up the right hand lane b4 the light to get ahead of the traffic after the light. Maybe a cop there at rush hour might be helpful..

Having a cop there would not do anything. There is nothing illegal about using the right lane. And there is no law that says when you have to merge. So people can cut off as many cars as they want and the cops cant ticket anyone for it. They need to make the lane end at the light to keep people from doing that and have everyone merge into one lane earlier. But when it is rush hout there isn't anywhere to go anyways, so if they win by 10 car lengths don't let it bother you. You will get home 15 seconds later.
