City of Malden assigned this issue to Department of Public Works

This is by far the biggest barrier as far as intersections go for families and kids who have to get to the Beebe from the “other side” of the Fellsway rotary. I would go farther and say it need enhancements beyond paint but at a minimum prominent crosswalks would be a help. Nobody with children uses the rotary so we need to make both sides around it friendlier.

The way Glenwood curves and rises for traffic coming from from the east makes this location particular hard for pedestrians to safely cross.

I have raised this concern with the Traffic Committee to no avail. It seems to be a location everyone agrees is dangerous but no one is willing to address.
