Description

Regional water Authority made a hole and never fixed it!

Fills with water when it rains. It sinks more each year!!

The hole was fixed at public expense by the DPW.

DPW's dep. dir, Howard Weissberg told me today by phone that DPW feels they are doing a much better job holding utilities & contractors responsible for repairing street cuts per City ordinance specs. He did acknowledge that DPW will make repairs at City expense if the problem is old or somehow fell thru the database/record keeping cracks. He also promises that DPW is indeed improving their procedures for keeping track of this stuff.
