Description

I was riding the length of the Paseo del Bosque bike trail today and nearly got run over by a car at the intersection of the road and the trail. from CABQ's own website, this trail is "16 miles of paved multi-use trails uninterrupted by roadways." ( https://www.cabq.gov/parksandrecreation/open-space/lands/paseo-del-bosque-trail ). I was very surprised as was the driver of the vehicle who was visiting the beach there. I implore the city to either place a stop sign or large painted bike crossing signage, etc there to prevent what was almost a terrible accident. Also, perhaps update the website so that cyclists have a warning that this particular access point along the trail does have crossing vehicle traffic and it is a blind corner, so not easy to see a vehicle until it is upon you. Thanks!
