Water Maintenance staff have been advised of your concern, and we apologize that your home was missed with a door tag. We have advised our crews to make sure all parcels are notified in the event of a shut off with a door hangar that will advise residents of procedures and expectations of a flushed line, which is the cause of the water color in this incident due to older pipe infrastructure. Water Resources also posts any boil water notices on the City website, and in this case there was no concern for such a notice.

This happened to many of us home on that day and if you talk to our neighboor they approached the workers doing the water and their reaponse was we are sorry didnt think anyone was home. This has been happening often on 30th ave N between 16th street N and MLK. They Are not putting flyers ever.

Whats sad is people in the shower that is not nice when getting ready for our work day. Hope you figure out which crew did this.
