It is several addresses on the odd-numbered side of the street. I believe the numbers are: 65, 61, 49,39.

Thanks NBPD! The cans are in the street now. We have Tuesday morning trash pickup so we all put our bins out Monday night.

This is still an issue. Now more people- all on the odd numbered side of the street -are placing their trash cans in the street! This is hazardous and decreases parking which is already at a premium on Albany Avenue. Maybe DPW can place stickers on the bins telling the owners to NOT put the bins in the street.

We will continue to monitor for ordinance violations of having cans out longer than allowed.

Dear NBPD, I don't care how long the cans are out. The issue is that residents on the odd numbered side of the street place their FULL bins IN THE STREET. This is a hazard to traffic and decreases parking.

This is STILL an issue. Residents still place their full trash cans in the street for pickup the next day. This has been pending for two months. I suggest an adhesive sticker on the trash cans telling folks to leave the cans on the sidewalk.

This issue is still outstanding. This SeeClickFix fix is ridiculous: this has not solved or helped the problem at all! Residents on the odd numbered side of Albany Avenue STILL place their FULL trash and recycle bins in the street. This is hazardous and reduces the number of parking spaces available. Why not make up a sticker that the Public Works employees can place on the bins telling folks that they belong on the berm NOT the street?

There is no city ordinance that prohibits residents from putting trash bins in the street for pick up. Only ordinance addresses how long the bins are out for, cannot be out for more than 24 hours otherwise will result in a ticket. Are you having issues with parking in your neighborhood?

Thank you for the response. I appreciate it. Personally I am not having parking issues but it is hazardous to put full trash cans in the streets and will create big problems during snowstorms and afterwards as DPW tries to clear the streets. This street has many multi family homes and naturally many cars jockeying for parking spaces.
