Descrizione

There are at least 2 or 3 boats, 2 landscape trailers, a backhoe, a cement mixer, a bobcat style bucket loader on the property. Starting early in the morning the people come and go hooking up pieces of equipment, creating alot of noise daily. Is there a zoning law about what and how many vehicles can be on a residential property? Can someone please come out and look ?

Also forgot to mention, the property has been reported before and zoning was sent out. Appears to be a repeat offender.

Out of curiosity, what makes "Illegal Vehicle on Property"?
Could someone cite the ordinance?
Because nothing seems to be getting done for those parking at the city property on Orland Street!

All these types of (mostly construction) vehicles, parked on the lawn of a backyard, in a residentiial zone??? Perhaps a construction business storing vehicles here? I’d say that’s a clear violation of an ordinance or two. Heck, I wouldn’t want to be living next door!

Yes Laz, all in a residential backyard! I think the owner of the property is a contractor, but we think he rents the property to a landscaper also.
Last year it took over 3 months to resolve, hopefully will not take that long this year. I enjoy sleeping with my windows open, but hard when living near this. Not very neighborly!

Zoning inspected and confirmed the storage of 2 boats, 2 backhoe machines, a cargo trailer and a commercial pick up truck all in the rear yard. An "order to comply" has been prepared and will be sent to the home owner of the property. Thank you for your patience. 6/7/18 - ns

June 8, 2018 - Today, June 8, 2018, Friday, Zoning Violation Notice "Order to Comply/Cease and Desist" has been issued to the property owner. NHB will additionally "Post" this order to Comply/Cease and Desist at the subject property - this afternoon - Friday, June 8, 2018.

The commercial vehicles & backhoe that were parked on the rear lawn are gone. One small trailer is still in the back yard, and there is still a some smaller equipment to the rear of the shed structure. 6/21/18 - will continue to monitor until complaint is resolved
