Description
Every day cars idle under the overpass on the 100 block of Fairmount, especially during lunchtime and near the end of the workday. I usually see someone idling at 4pm.

Clean Air Council (Guest)
Clean Air Council is collecting data on idling hot spots, which allows for targeted enforcement. We prepare monthly reports and will contact the Philadelphia Parking Authority regarding this matter.
Please continue to report idling you observe including the type of vehicle and/or company, time of day, and location.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
