Demolition of the structure on this property was done two months ago. It was a nightmare. Crews completely ignored codes & common sense. They parked illegally in the street... in the Tree Line & blocking the sidewalk. Police were call ed MULTIPLE times each week. This was exactly the same experience we had wit demolition / construction of the lot immediately to the west. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE TOLERATED A SECOND TIME AROUND! ST. PETERSBURG BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND NEIGHBORHOOD POLICE A R E GOING TO BEGIN TO WORK PROACTIVELY TO ENSURE ROGUE DEVELOPERS DO NOT RUIN THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE OF US WHO L I V E HERE... DRIVE THESE STREETS ... AND PAY THESE TAXES!

We do need for developers to be mindful of our narrow streets and small lots. I don’t think threats are called for however.
St. Pete City building department, please take this complaint on board and fine the builder. I agree that not enough attention is being paid to building and development in the city neighborhoods.
