If a rat came up your toilet, this is an internal issue at your home. Your P-trap in the toilet has gone dry. All you need to do is flush the toilet several times to fill the trap. All sinks and toilets in a home or business should be flushed several times per month if they are not being used. This will keep intruders out.
The issue that you reported previously has been addressed by the City, and this open work order is now closed. Please feel free to submit future requests to us via SeeClickFix St. Pete, and thanks again!
