On the Easbound side of Mira Mesa Blvd between Camino Santa Fe and Camino Ruiz, the manhole cover are as much as 5 inches below the level of the pavement. There are two covers that are so deep, I've almost wrecked my motorcycle. I've watched cars with smaller wheels bottom out in these. Someone is going to get hurt badly because of these.
