  Thank you for contacting the OAK 311. Please be advised that the City’s Department of Transportation is aware of this service issue. We are working to move the handful of planters back into their original installed locations. In the short term, we will ensure that the planters have the required amount of soil and filled reservoirs to weigh them down to deter further movement. Also, we will ensure that the reflective tape is installed as initially designed, and will explore options to anchor the planters to the pavement. The long term solution will be implemented along with many other improvements along Telegraph Avenue as part of the Telegraph Avenue Complete Streets Project. This is a $5 million project that will install permanent features and improvements along Telegraph Avenue to improve the safety and experience along the corridor. Construction is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2020.
