Many sidewalks in Malden have overgrowth. Years ago they used to spray the sidewalks with grass killer. Any plans from the DPW to do that again or should we report one street at a time on here?
If we don’t put it on Clickfix it doesn’t get done. And sometimes even if it’s here it just gets ignored.
No such a thing in Malden anymore that a City Employee would take it upon themselves to stop and clean or cut anything. They see the same sidewalks as we do driving around. Almost every tree on the sidewalks has growth around the bottom and every sidewalk has grass growing through it. They just sit back and wait for us to report all the problems. It should not be like that. Around Maplewood square across from the funeral home the sidewalk looks terrible. And the roads ??? Forget about it !!!
Unfortunately, it appears that Down town Malden is the priority. The city is over populated which causes many issues. Too many to list hear. Very sad for the long time home owners who take pride in maintaining property etc. If you’re not in a position to sell home, your stuck with the fall out.
Yes. Very overpopulated with many illegal apartments. You can tell when you look at a single family house and their are six cars in the driveways and on the streets. I have one next door to me. Illegal basement apartment. Landlord collecting cash for rent and paying taxes on a Single family home instead of 2 family.
