Description
I reported this recently and you closed it almost immediately because of the homeowner’s promise that he won’t do it again. This has been going on for years. He won’t stop until he’s fined and hit in the pocket. It’s not my issue that he doesn’t have any more driveway space for the number of vehicles in that house. Allowing this debases our neighborhood and decreases our property values. He’s parked damn near in front of the front door!!
Please do not close this until he’s fined and stops it!

With all due respect Mr. Lum, that’s not my problem. We have zoning ordinances for a reason - because it looks tacky and makes our neighborhoods look terrible. And I’d add further that no sooner than you closed it the last time, they did the same thing immediately and they’ve been doing it for years. Why are you so quick to close cases that are not yet resolved. He hasn’t removed the car. He hasn’t expanded the driveway. He still parks on the lawn. So why is this being closed?
I live and play by the rules - so should other homeowners.

Nowadays every family member has one. The zoning hasn't kept up with the real world experience. We close the cases for administrative reasons after we talk to the parties involved. Please have some understanding for your neighbors and be thankful you have the room for all of your vehicles.
