Description
There is a large amount of debris clogging up Snake Creek at the sewer pipe directly behind my house. There is a Christmas tree and several logs that have been washed up against the city sewer pipe that crosses the creek. This is causing water to back up flooding my neighbors back yard behind us during storms. We are at 24 Parks Ave and it is near the back corner of our house on the side next to the empty lot.

The City inspected this today. We identified the pipe as a Sanitary Sewer Pipe owned by Newnan Utilties. The City of Newnan has no ability or rights to enable us to maintain this as it is on private property and not owned by the City. I e-mailed our contacts with Newnan Utilities, as we discussed on-site today, as Newnan Utilities owns and maintains their infrastructure.
Your request has now been officially closed. Again, the city appreciates your requests. Please feel free to SeeClickFix it again. Thank you!

As you are adjacent to an area of special flood hazard (flood zone), you may want to investigate obtaining flood insurance if you have not already done so. If you have any questions about that, please don't hesitate to contact me.
