There used to be a Street light at the intersection of Cook Street and Long Drive bear the mailboxes. Now at night that area is very dark and lacking the safety of the street light. I’m sure the drivers car insurance has already paid for the replacement of the light and pole. Can a new light be installed?
Can this light get replaced before the snow arrives? Otherwise it will be another year with no light at the end of the street near the mailboxes. I'm sure if one of the brand new light poles in the center of town were down it would be replaced the same day.
It has been over a year now since the light pole was knocked down. The area where the pole is located contains the mail boxes and an entrance to a trail into the woods. When without the light it is difficult to see the location for either.
Not sure why the Public Works Department is delaying the repair. I’m sure the insurance company for the responsible driver has already paid for the pole.
Can someone from the Webo DPW please respond with an ETA to replace the pole?
