KFW, I want to be clear and respectful. My comment to G is legitimate as it is the number #1 activity at this site as it is on most abandoned and neglected City owned properties. You take exception to my comments but not to G's snide comment about the FBI or the ludicrous comment about him/her visiting this van. G's comments diminish the neighbors' posts and concerns about this property.
You should take the time and click on his profile to read his comments on this system. As I have read your trite and banal comments "thank you for the update" "I look forward to your progress".
I live in this neighborhood. Do you and G?
When the police say a vehicle moved but is in fact still parked in that lot, what can the neighbors expect.
Add your voice to make positive change to this neighborhood instead of trying to censor my voice.

ARRGH...I can feel your frustration C...I think we're talking a little bit at cross purposes.
First, I don't see the FBI comment...but could that be the now "Content blocked by rejections " comment? I wouldn't have appreciated that either.
Second, your comment seemed to me to be deliberately antagonistic and baiting by implying that "G" was likely involved in drug movement either buying or selling.
Third, my "trite and banal comments" are merely an effort to get the city officials and civil servants within the city of Bridgeport to inform us of the EXACT disposition of cases. If an issue is closed...WHY was it closed...HOW was it closed, etc. I can be a bit of a PITA but there is no point in having such a forum as this one is if we aren't actually being informed.
Fourth, when the police say a vehicle is moved but still has not actually moved, well, see my notes above...holding people accountable for actually doing their jobs is what I'm doing in my gnat-like way... ;-)
Lastly, while I don't live in this particular neighborhood, I do live in Bridgeport...my family has been here in one form or another for nearly a century...and I would love to see the city restored to the wonderful, bustling center of business and families that it was at one time.
C...I think, in the end, we're on the same page.
Respectfully, KFW

But fencing off the perimeter on Whittier and Orland like it was before is the best option.

I agree, this is still City owned property, and City owned liability.

The mayor builds fences for other areas but doesn't do anything for our safety.
