A few months ago, I reported to my complex that I heard a leak and seen black mold. The maintenance guy ignored the leak and painted over the mold. I noticed the black mold growing back through the paint. Noticed that water was coming from under my baseboards in my hallway. Called the maintenance and spoke with the rental agents. They have been deny to move me out of my apartment into another apartment to fix the issue. Instead they have released me from my lease and gave me three days to get out. They stated they had a third party do moisture readings and the moisture readings were good. I asked to see them , they said no . The maintenance guy came the next day to do the moisture reading. I asked why did they lie, and they did not say anything. I had a company come out to do moisture readings and the reading were horrible... They cut a whole in the wall to get the black mold off the wall, but the boards in the mall are covered in black mold, and they covered it up with more boards.
