49th street road work is causing unusual traffic patterns in neighborhood. Pinellas County needs to put road signs (that face into the neighborhoods from 49th street) that the roads are dead ends and no through traffic. The signs that are up are for the neighborhood going out to 49th street. All of us in the neighborhood know by now there is road work. The county needs to close these neighborhoods off to this traffic due to people not being considerate of their speed as they race through the neighborhoods trying to avoid the traffic back up. The county needs to either put huge signs up at 46th Avenue to let these people know to turn down that street and connect to 58th street. People unfamiliar with these neighborhoods are creating a danger to all the people living here because many of these people are not obeying the 25 mph speed limit. The county can detour traffic down 46th avenue to 58th street and then turn that traffic south to 38th avenue.
