Description

There is a technical issue with the search engine on the city's website at https://www.newhavenct.gov/

Don't take my word for it. Go to the website and try utilizing the search engine for yourself.

Almost all search queries result in "No Matches Found". The error message displayed is as follows.

********************
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e07'

Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '5,603,953,2,1,7,614' to data type int.

/civica/azindex/filteredsearchfuncs.asp, line 1732
********************
That was the error message received after performing separate searches for the following keywords:

downtown
bicycle
concert
meter
trash

There is no way there aren't actual results for those keywords.

I understand IT issues can be quite difficult for the personnel employed with our IT Department. If you can't figure out how to resolve the issue, please contact me for an appointment and I can offer assistance.
