Stan, Thank you for your post.
The primary contractor was notified on 6/13/18 of the dirt in the street and sidewalk.
Also, the contractor is preparing to install the new driveway.

The new driveway is not installed, and a 6-ft pile of dirt remains. As you can see, it is now washing back into the street, onto the sidewalk, and down the sewer. This project has been reported multiple times in the past. I don't understand why the city cannot ensure compliance?

Morning of 06-29-18: Builder has not fully cleaned mud from street. Storm drain not protected. Is builder allowed to continue work while under violation? Workers appeared to be at site.

This site is not under a stop work order. The contractors are allowed to work under the Notice of Violation.
I reinspected the site and the contractor has installed some erosion control measures and cleaned the sidewalk. It is still under violation and the contractor is moving forward to correcting his site.

07-01-18: I realize that five business days may not have passed (unless June 25 is included), but the builder has still not replaced protection for the storm water drain nor removed the mud in the street/gutter from previous run-off along the left side of the lot (as you face it).

BTW, allowing five business days for correction of a run-off problem involving mud into the storm drains during a time of year with regular afternoon thunderstorms seems overly generous. I suggest the city revisit that time period. Additionally, builders typically work Saturdays, so that day should be considered a "business day" for enforcement purposes.
