I jog and my children ride their bikes on Hoose. It is very intimidating at times and a bike lane/wider shoulder would be very welcome to most of the people I know in the area.

Think of how great it would be if our neighborhoods were connected via a wider, safer Hoose Rd. Imagine if we could safely bike to the park at the end of the road. It's ridiculous that we have to pack up and drive 0.5 miles to Concord Hills Park b/c Hoose Rd is too dangerous by foot or bike.

I hate driving on Hoose in the summer because all the bikes and joggers. The road is too narrow to accommodate pedestrians and bikes. A bike path would be great, or a sidewalk.

Kids walk up and down Hoose daily to visit friends in nearby developments. Having no sidewalks creates an potentially hazardous situation for anybody who is walking or driving down this road.

If you are driving on Hoose please be patient and don't try to pass a bike with traffic oncoming. Bikes have the right to be there and remember they only weigh 20lbs and your car weighs in at 2 tons. Be a good neighbor and "share the road"

I have to admit that I detest bikers. There is one guy on Lakeshore that thinks he owns the road or the family with their kids riding behind them when the kids are fooling around and not looking where they are going. All bike lanes should be banned,

I sure hope that they widen the road when they resurface it. Why on earth the city would resurface this road without putting in a bike lane or at the very least widening it, is beyond my comprehension. Hoose Road is not a small, low traffic side street! It is a VERY busy road!

I live on Hoose Rd. and I am amazed there hadn't been a serious incident. Many adults and children bike, jog, walk, run, you name it, on Hoose. A bike path and/or sidewalks would be an awesome addition and greatly improve the safety of our neighborhood.

I agree with the need for a bike path. Not only is it a busy road with vehicles as well as pedestrians trying to share it, but there are no street lights and the shoulders are not in good condition. I have 4 children and would love to safely utilize this stretch of land. Please consider a bike path for the safety of our community.
