This is a private ditch and Macon Bibb County does not have any maintenance responsibility to this ditch - 6/18/18

If it private who owns the ditch? So they can responsible for it. When my son bought his house at 2588 Tredway Drive31211 in 1999 they told me that the ditch belongs to the city, and the city was cleaning it out on a regular basis until the last 5-10 years they would do a little work in the ditch but all at once they just stopped. My son pays taxes just like everyone else if this is a part of his property it needs to be put in writing stating that this is his responsibility. Could you please put me in touch with the person I need to talk to resolve this matter in a timely manner before I take it upon myself and go to the mayor and see what I can get done on my son behalf. It is said when a community becomes mostly African Americans things that use to get done by the city because it was their job,but now you have to put in a request to get it done. they use to re-top the streets on Tredway Drive and community every so often but it has been over 5-8 years since they beautified our community but yet instill they want us to pay the same taxes for less city work, and that is not fair. Even at night you have every 3 or 4 street lights that works children and adults have to walk in the dark where there is no side-walks for them to be safe from traffic. If everything is changing to fit the government what is going to change to help the community to stay safe at night or when their children are walking through the neighborhood. Thanks
