Description

Coyote seen twice within 30 minutes at various points around the perimeter of my yard. All while multiple young kids were playing raucously outside 3 doors down.

Q. Describe your coyote encounter
A. My dog barked so I came outside. As soon as I came outside I saw a coyote (who was facing my dog) turn around a head towards creek wetland area. 30 minutes later my dog barked again and there was a coyote (someone? Not sure) on another side of my yard rustling through the leaves. I yelled at it loudly and aggressively and it casually backed off about 10 yards into the brush, but then 2 minutes later came right back towards us within 20 feet of us. I brought my dog inside. The kids were still playing loudly 3 doors down, and the coyote didn’t seem phased by the noise or commotion.
Q. Did you attempt to haze the coyote? If so, how did it react?
A. yes I yelled aggressively at it. it only momentarily backed off but stayed in the area and returned towards us.
