came back from a week in El Paso and so NO homeless in tents or corner streets ...... Ha probably because other states sending homeless to Albuquerque knowing that we are the tent city capital of the South!!!!

Set up a camp ground at the dump. Civilizations older than ours do so with much success and appreciation by the bums. India, China, and many Latin American Countries give them what they want: access to trash and free stuff! We should do the same as a humanitarian effort.

Maybe our Mayor should take a ride along with local citizens and business owners to get a true understanding of this epidemic...........or he can just put his head in the sand like the last one.

I agree! It’s sooooo in our face how can he not see it! It’s everywhere in Albuquerque. I recently had a man living behind our alley who would not leave. The trash, smell of urine and syringes was so beyond frustrating i did not know what to do anymore. Nobody wanted to help and his record was very concerning! Building the homeless a multi billion dollar apartment complex like the news said the city wanted to do, will be Albuquerque’s second disaster after ART. The majority of homeless do NOT want to work or become productive citizens of Albuquerque. They know what they can get away with and they know no one will do anything to them .....i just want my city back!!!!! #FedUp!!! And yes these poor businesses who have to deal with them i don’t even go no where near 4th street if i don’t have to!

This being a sanctuary city, they know that they are protected.
If people would not give them money as they stand in the street, they would go away.
