Why aren't the no smoking signs enforced? Everyone just lights up at this corner and you navigate a sea of smoke to walk thru. I'd hate to be a patietn there with an allergy when employees and visitors just stand there and light up. No police enforcement by NH or Yale. so why bother with the signs

I am one of those people that is highly allergic to smoke. Drives me INSANE that people do this. In general, and more often then not, smokers don't give a crap about those who don't smoke. They also are NOTORIOUS for throwing their butts wherever they feel like it. Irritating!
Smokers - be more considerate of others. You want to screw up your health, by all means do it, but don't impact ours as well. Its disgusting all around.
Since Im venting, I dont get why people even bother starting to smoke or dont work harder at quitting and if you cant do it alone, get help! Its expensive to buy, it has expensive repercussions (insurance increases, more health problems that require more help, even car insurance higher), its disgusting, its unattractive, you waste so much time for those "smoke breaks", it changes your taste buds, you almost always stink, it ages you, and gives you all sorts of health problems...and yet you still smoke? O.o

Smokers are annoying, but whiners are far worse.

This isnt about "whining" - its about HEALTH! If this was only affecting the smokers health then it wouldnt be such an issue - but it isnt - it affects everyones health too.
We shouldnt have to wear "hoods" to avoid another persons smoke. A smoker should be RESPECTFUL of another persons right to not be forced to smoke too! Which is exactly what happens when we have to be around smokers. Whats pitiful is that this is happening in front of a hospital - talk about hypocritical!
