It happened again. While exiting from our Cooperative Housing driveway on Flynn Ave, an accident almost occurred. This is pretty much a daily occurrence for me and my co-op neighbors. In order to see if any traffic is coming from the west lane, I needed to pull out into the east lane of traffic -- the cars parked on either side of our driveway prohibit safe viewing of on-coming traffic. A large black Chevrolet truck was driving very fast eastbound and almost hit me & my son as I inched out of our driveway. City administrators, will you PLEASE at least put "compact car parking only" signs on both sides of our driveway so that we Burlington citizens can feel safe by our homes? Please do not wait until one of us has a bad accident before you act. Preventative thinking can save money, morale, and lives!
