Description
There must be passenger crosswalk next to every public transit bus stop especially the Wal-Mart bus stop and the one where Winners is. It's dangerous to cross especially for people with disabilities.
Thanks

Behind Walmart there are existing marked crosswalks within 100m of the stop location. As the crosswalks connect existing paths we will not be moving the crosswalk or installing another crosswalk at the requested location.
You are correct, there is no marked pedestrian crossing, across 97 Ave, leading to the transit stop south of Winners. There are pedestrian activated signals across 97 Ave at the intersection of 116 St and these are less than 150m from the transit stop although, there is no sidewalk leading to the transit stop. The sidewalks are unlikely to be built until the vacant land, south of Winners, is developed. We will undertake a crossing warrant assessment to determine whether a marked crosswalk is warranted at this location - to warrant a marked crosswalk there should be a minimum of 100 pedestrians over a 7-hr period. If the crossing warrant is met then a marked crosswalk will be recommended for construction.
Thankyou again for your comment.
