Description
Area around the storm sewer man hole cover in middle of street is subsiding/sinking every time it rains. This is interfering with traffic and presents a safety hazard to children riding their bikes. Presumably due to a break in the drainage tile which is causing a sink hole.
Over the past week, it has sunk about 6 inches and the asphalt is breaking/sinking in a circle approximately 6 feet across.
A similar issue just up the street was repaired a few days ago.
Note: this appears to be a common problem in the neighborhood with alarming subsidence around most of the storm sewer man hole covers.
