How many times do we have to report the number of cars and motorcycles/dirt bikes driving on pedestrian roads and parking on the grass in Washington Park, not to mention the level of alcohol drinking and drug use there? The park is being allowed to fall into a mess like Lark and Madison. So sad and dangerous.

I have been over there and the chains are missing

The chains have been on the ground and while we can hope drivers are mindful of pedestrians, skaters and bicyclists everywhere we know we cannot trust thst is true. We need the safety of protexted byways

We need a real Park Superintendent with staff who monitor the park for many reasons. The park workers are nice people but have no authority or inclination to address any of these issues including cars parked on lawns, and near basketball courts, skateboarders on Civil War Monument, people camping out and hooked up to city elec. outlets, dumping charcoal at the base of trees There is a man in a black SUV that I frequently see driving through the park at inappropriate speed. Too fast to grab license plate. The park is for people not for vehicles -- right?
