The place is awesome. it’s crazy how many cars are there daily. But that’s also great for the neighborhood to have such a great new multi-buisness booming right there. Makes home values go ^^^

New to neighborhood, no one is saying we don’t want businesses in the neighborhood we are asking that they respect the neighborhood they are doing business in. I have ate there, it’s good, doesn’t excuse the valet service using the neighborhood parking for commercial purposes.

Of course. I totally agree. They should rent parking spaces in one of the parking lots across 4th street

The valet operation that was in effect last night was from the realtor office in the old school building and not the Hacienda Restaurant. I spoke to both the owner of the Hacienda and the valet operation and they confirmed this. I also confirmed with the valet owner that all vehicles were picked up and dropped off back to the owners on private property(Parking lot) thus not requiring a valet permit as described in City Ordinance Chapter 25. However, the valet owner did admit that some vehicles were parked on public right of way spaces along 3rd Street. He was told that this cannot happen again also per City Ordinance. I reminded him of the "No Right Turn" sign in the private parking lot at the alley between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue. He understood. We talked about the extra traffic and intruding on the neighborhood to include careless and/or speeding and that if that continued to be an issue, the police would and should get involved.

The valet owner is very willing to make things work and not upset the neighborhood. He is looking for additional lots in the area to park the overflow vehicles. The owner of Hacienda is also trying to be a good neighbor and is making sure that if she does use the valet operation, it will be sensitive to the neighborhood and comply with the City Ordinance.
