Description

A pedestrian signal is needed at this intersection to force cars to stop for pedestrians trying to cross Willow St. Car drivers do not yield to pedestrians in this crosswalk (or any others around town), so a signal is needed to force car drivers to come to a complete stop to allow pedestrians to cross safely at this intersection.

I'm advocating for pedestrian friendly infrastructure along Willow - a street with dangerous speeding, mostly non-local traffic and a high volume of truck traffic. Since this intersection already has traffic light infrastructure, pedestrian lighting should be relatively easy to install. If more folks from the community push for this, we'll have the legitimacy to get this done.
