Description
The intersection of COolidge Avenue and East 22nd Street is extremely dangerous - drivers come out of Walgreens on to 22nd and attempt to turn left or right onto Coolidge while drivers coming down Coolidge from the Peralta side, or getting on Cooldige from Foothill drive at a high rate of speed. This leads to accidents at least once a month in this intersection. A stop sign on both sides of Coolidge at E. 22 would help to prevent accidents, reduce the reckless speeding on the street (which is extreme) and keep pedestrians and residents safe. At some point, someone will be killed, and the lack of action has even been noted by police, who respond to the frequent accidents. A new accident occurred this weekend.
