Before a year or two ago before A&S drive was repaved the traffic light intersection of A&P Drive & Winters Avenue had turn arrow sensors that would detect cars in the turn lane and would have the turn arrow only when there are cars present. Since the paving there are sensors in the road but have never worked. Now every cycle has a red light with green arrow, even if there are no cars present to turn.
