Description
On the issue of sub-lotting whereby if one has a 10 acre lot, say it is R-1, and one wants to divide in half so that 1 house is on 5 acres and the ability to build 9 houses is put on the other 5 acres so that that overall density for the two lots is still 1/acre -
Has that ever actually been done on Bainbridge Island?
Is there a moratorium on doing this at the present time?
Is this commonly done?
Supposing one is NOT planning to subdivide now. Is it possible to specify the location of development rights now? EG 1 development right is located here, another development right is located there, etc. so that it is on record at the city?
thanks
