History indicates the drain pipe under this and the adjoining property keeps backing up and undercutting the new paving on the parking lot or our neighbors yard. Should be a recent file n this that was interrupted by the last flood.

This is still an issue and the sunken area appears to be growing.

This is being handled by a contractor from Engineering under Marshall D. Highways will not be the lead on this project but you can contact us if an issue arises. Email JBarker@howardcountymd.gov

Good Morning Mr. Barker:
This issue has been ongoing for over 3 years no with nothing other than cones and spray paint being applied. The main cause of this sinkhole is the under ground hand built culvert that has not been repaired. When will this be resolved and our parking lot sink hole corrected? Just filling the hole is a partial band aid.

Is anything going to be done about this? The sinkhole has only gotten worse and the church is not able to use that part of the parking lot.

Mr. Wimsatt, as we discussed, this issue is being addressed by the County Engineering Department under Marshall Davidson. The Engineering department does not have SeeClickFix. Highways has SeeClickFix as sort of an in take method. I will pass along your concerns via email to Marshall and I also believe you have his contact information. Closing request out as no maintenance is needed from Highways. Please feel free to reach out to me by email as we do not have a method to monitor SeeClickFix for re-opened request.
