Elevators are fall under the oversight of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations. For more information on reporting an elevator see the FAQ and Contact Pages below:

How do I report that the certificate of operation (license) is expired in my building's elevator?
Contact the building owner or manager. The certificate frame is often "vandal resistant" and requires special tools to install the updated certificate. A duplicate certificate of operation must be requested for display.
I think the Action Center is self serving and in this case we have an elevator that was involved in a fire and was out of service for at least a year that is not inspected. Just another notch up in city hall for being more concerned about plastic staws than the safety of the public in a city building.

I checked with our management company representative, John Peake and he sent me the following statement;
The repair was completed and the elevator was reinspected June 25 and passed. This was paid on July 6, 2018 approximately 1:25pm.
Reference number 186000317 License # 44378, Cleared, Reference Number 186000318 License # 44377, Cleared. Both of these were paid in full.
Telephone number is 1-850-487-1395 enter the license number and it will state "cleared"

The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews old SeeClickFix reports in an effort to clean-up past issues that were resolved some time ago. We are now marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website or mobile app and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
