In the past month, we've had a car stolen, 4 cars totaled from a police high speed chase, and this morning at 1 am gun shoos fired.... When is some one going to do something!!!! The prostitutes and drug dealing is enough, but the extras are getting out of control. Where are you Mr. Paca, guardian angels????

People in get together to stop it. I'm will to work with anyone who wants to keep an eye on things and report and speak to the youth who are or maybe responsible for the crime. We should even go as a far as talking to the parents.
But we have to become a deterrent , we can not just ask for someone else to do it.

Where were the cars totaled? Are you talking about Linden & Orange?
Just curious if you could get more specific about the issue - are you talking about crime in the New Haven region as a whole?

The cars were totaled on on Ellsworth and Argonne at 1 am, the police towed the vehicles without informing the owners, so when they got up up the assumed the cars were stolen. This incident never made the news and was a week before the incident on Linden street.. The city needs to realize tat hard working people live over here too.. Just because the City treasurer lives on the other end of Ellsworth where everything is alright, we just get plain ignored......

Thanks for reporting the crash, that's pretty amazing.
Since the ticket wasn't specific as to a street, I thought it might be the same incident as the one at Linden and Orange - which also totaled exactly 4 vehicles after a high -speed police chase :) I didn't realize we had more than one of those every month in this city!
On the topic of the other crimes - can you be more specific about what they are and where they occur? That would help the police determine a proper response. I'd keep updating here with more specifics so you can get more of your neighbors engaged - without those, it sounds like this could be happening anywhere/everywhere.
