Why is this space used for personal concerns ? It's difficult to believe that someone who has posted thousands of times here cannot find their "issue".
Please don't create issues here that are simple a matter of your own inability to locate things

Blaine - this isn't a personal issue (though I don't blame you for not knowing that). You can look up any number of communications from neighborhood and citywide groups about it. In fact the route was planned more than a year ago when the city received a federal grant worth more than $100,000 for the express purpose of improving bicycle access.

Mark, maybe get in touch with the neighborhood group and the city to find out and push things along. We're also waiting on a bicycle lane here in Whitneyville on Putnam Ave connecting to the Farmington Canal, and it appears it's only delayed because of lack of communication within the city gov. The road works people were never told to create the bicycle lanes, even thought everything is there- money, approval, etc.

Yes, I've been in touch with the city about it and representatives from a few different neighborhood groups previously expressed their support. This actually has been going on for years (and actually planned for installation last summer).

Interesting about Hamden. Have people been voting on a SCF issue for the Putnam lane? That might be a good way to bring attention to that.

I did actually post a thread on SCF a few months back about the Putnam bicycle lane and I've been adding updates to it as we go.
