With all due respect, it seems that after four year of this trash being here and having been reported before that it would be exceedingly embarrassing to just now finally be issuing a work order for "investigation". Are you really admitting that this has been there that long an no one has cared enough to do anything? When the investigation takes place take a look around to the entire surrounding area and see how it compares to downtown Detroit, or some of our suburbs.

Your claim of "accessibility challenges" is baseless and a very lame effort to keep from setting a new precedent that might change an arbitrary policy that completely ignores the gigantic issue of actually cleaning up an area where there are no home owners who can be held responsibility. There needs to be a genuine review where there is actually a physical examination on site with credible discussion of people other than just one person whose mind is already made up, of not only this particular matter but many similar matters like it that have allowed whoever is making this pigheaded ignorant decision to continue to allow our once beautiful city remain in the doldrums of a widespread trash heap. There needs to be someone from the Mayors office involved who can look at this situation in the same light that the downtown areas around the stadiums have been looked at.

Whoever claimed that the debris has been removed has not seen the mess. It is just as it has been.

I want to express a partial victory and state that what I have heretofore been told that there was not a way for workers to go into an alley and remove trash heaps and illegal dumping from construction jobs was not really the case after all. YOU ACTUALLY DID IT. I do want to say however that WHOEVER DID THE WORK DID A HORRIBLE JOB BECASE OF THE TOTALLY UNFINISHED JOB THAT WAS DONE. ---- In my life I have worked many jobs and I would have expected to be fired if I had ever done that SLOPPY OF A JOB.------ PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SEND THAT WORKER BACK IN THERE NOT TO DO MORE SLOPPY WORK BUT TO DO SOME TOP NOTCH FINE FINISHED CLEAN-UP ON THIS AREA.
